Culture in the region
One of the most beautiful buildings in Fuerth is only 12 minutes away from the Hotel Forsthaus Nuremberg Fuerth: the city theatre in the Königstraße 116. The famous Viennese architects Helmer and Felmer erected the building in a Neo-Baroque style in 1902. Reliefs of Mozart and Schiller, busts of Wagner, Beethoven, Goethe and Lessing on the front of the sides stand for the theatre's program and the "bourgeois" taste of the time.
Jewish Museum of Franconia
For hundreds of years, Jews, Protestants and Catholics have lived next to one another. This is why Fuerth is regarded as a shining example of a tolerant coexistence. The Jewish Museum deals not only with the history and culture of the Jewish population in Fuerth and Franconia, but also with the present and the future.
Interesting exhibitions, guided tours and city walks are waiting for you.
